How do I test if my Earthedin product is conductive?

There are two simple ways to verify that the silver fibers in your Earthedin sheet or mat are working correctly:

1. Using a Multimeter (Recommended):Set your multimeter to the Resistance (Ω) or Continuity (Beep) setting. Place the two probes on different parts of the sheet (touching the silver threads).

  • If you hear a beep or see a resistance reading on the screen, it confirms that the silver grid is conductive and the product is ready to use.

2. Using a Grounding Continuity Tester:If you have a grounding continuity tester or pen, simply place it on the mat/sheet while it is connected. A light indicator will confirm that the conductive connection is active.

Does the product use electricity or emit any fields?

No. Earthedin grounding products are 100% non-electric. Because they do not use a power source, they are completely safe and do not generate any electrical fields, magnetic noise, or emissions. You are simply connecting to the Earth's natural energy, similar to walking barefoot on grass.

Why can't I detect any continuity (beep sound) in the grounding cord?

Do not worry, your cord is likely working perfectly. This is due to a built-in Safety Feature.

All Earthedin grounding cords contain a 100,000 Ohm safety resistor. This resistor allows your body's excess voltage to discharge into the earth but prevents any unexpected current from flowing back to you.

The Solution:
Standard "Continuity Check" modes on multimeters only "beep" for very low resistance (usually under 50 Ohms). Since our safety resistor is higher than that, it won't beep.
To test the cord, simply switch your multimeter to the Resistance (Ω) setting (specifically the 200k mode). You should then see a reading on the screen (usually around 100), confirming the cord is functioning.

Will it work if I live in an apartment or high-rise?

Yes, absolutely. Earthedin products function perfectly in apartments and high-rise buildings, regardless of which floor you live on.

This is because modern buildings have a central grounding system integrated into their electrical wiring. When you plug our product into the ground port of your outlet, you are connecting to a wire that runs all the way down into the earth, keeping you grounded just as if you were walking outside.

What if my home doesn't have a grounded outlet?

No grounded outlet? No problem! You can use the Earthedin Grounding Rod as a perfect alternative.

Simply insert the metal rod into the soil outside your home (like in your yard or garden). The kit comes with a 40-foot (12-meter) cord that you can easily run through a window or under a door to connect to your product. This provides a direct and powerful connection to the Earth.

Which plug adapter do I need?

  • Select "USA Plug": For United States and Canada.(Connects directly to the ground pin; no adapter block needed).
  • Select "UK Plug": For United Kingdom, Singapore, and Malaysia.
  • Select "EU Plug": For Germany, France, most of Europe, and Indonesia (Type F sockets).
  • Select "AU/NZ Plug": For Australia and New Zealand.
  • ⚠️ Note for Indonesia: Please ensure you have Type F sockets (grounded). Type C sockets (ungrounded/2-pin) are not compatible with grounding products.

Can I put a regular sheet over the Earthedin sheet?

Direct skin contact is the most effective way to absorb the Earth's energy. While it is technically possible for some grounding to occur through a very thin cotton sheet (once body humidity builds up), this creates a barrier that significantly weakens the connection.

Don't worry—our sheets are designed with premium materials to be soft and comfortable against your skin. Plus, regular washing is actually recommended to keep the silver fibers clean and conductive!

Can I wear pajamas while sleeping on the grounding sheet?

Yes, absolutely. You do not need to sleep naked to receive the benefits of Earthedin.

Comfortable pajamas are perfectly fine, as long as some bare skin comes into direct contact with the sheet. For most people, having bare feet, calves, or arms touching the sheet is enough to establish a solid connection.

Pro Tip for Targeted Comfort:
If you have a specific area of tightness or tension (like a stiff knee or shoulder), we recommend positioning yourself so that the specific area touches the sheet directly. This maximizes the connection to that spot and may help promote deeper relaxation.

How do I care for and wash my Earthedin sheets?

Proper care is essential to protect the silver threads and maintain conductivity. Contrary to regular sheets, washing is actually good for your grounding sheet! It strips away body oils and sweat that can block the connection.

Caring for your Earthedin mat is very simple.

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Wipe Down: Use a soft cloth with mild soap or water to wipe the surface. You can also use gentle non-corrosive cleaning wipes.
  2. Rinse: Wipe again with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soapy residue. (Do not submerge the mat in water).
  3. Dry: Pat dry with a towel or let it air dry.

  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to UV rays can damage the PU leather and shorten its lifespan.

How long will the Grounding Mat last?

Can I wear socks on the Grounding Mat?
